Altered State Machine (ASM) is creating a platform to build, train and trade AI agents as NFTs. The first project for ASM will be using these ‘Brains’ in the play-to-earn game AIFA (Artificial Intelligence Football Association).

Inside every box is 4 unique AIFA All-Stars and 1 unique Altered State Machine Brain. These are all separate NFTs, and will be available to mint at the start of December 2021.

A total of 10,000 uniquely numbered AIFA Box NFTs were created, with four different rarities.

AIFA Boxes were launched as Ethereum NFTs on the 20th October 2021. They are now for sale on the secondary market (OpenSea).

Yes, in order to mint all five items in the box, the Ethereum network requires a fee (known as gas).

Once you choose to open your box NFT, the All-Stars and Brain from it will then be minted as new NFTs. The box itself will then be transferred to a burn address (a dead wallet that no one has access to, also called a black hole). You will no longer have access to it, and it will effectively cease to exist.

You can open your box whenever you like. If you want to try and keep your gas fees low then monitor gas fees on the Ethereum network and pick a moment that will be cheaper to mint.

Our plan is to leave it the unboxing platform open, as long as there are a large amount of boxes still to be unboxed. The AIFA website and the community will receive plenty of notice before any kind of ‘sunset’ happens on the box opening.

Yes! You will have the option to adjust a few of the body parts or colours (unless it is a rare Prime or Boss character which are locked).

Yes. When registering a new character configuration it will also need to be recorded as a new NFT and that will require a mint fee (gas). You can avoid this fee by keeping your character as it comes, out of the box.

The families that make up the interchangable elements of all the configurable characters are; Originals, ASMilated, Zombies and SuperHeroines.

The rare All-Stars are: - the Prime characters of the four families - the Bosses Primes and Bosses are all immutable characters and cannot be configured.

The Boss characters are unique one-of-a-kind All-Stars based on the Original Prime characters! They're super special and unique, mostly containing parts and accessories that no other character has.

Some configurable All-Stars will have character traits for special upgrades. This could be a unique 'Chromatic' colour or the ability to 'Morph' and change bodies or even a special 'Hobby'. Open your character in the dashboard to view any traits it may have.

In the AIFA game, your team will have four All-Stars. So you can be as creative as you like mixing colours and items in configurable characters, to make a team theme... or individual All-Stars that really stand out.

Configuring an AIFA All-Star is a one time only power. Once your new configuration is minted, it will be permanently locked in.

In order to play AIFA, each character will need an ASM Brain.

Every brain is unique with it's own Genome Matrix that is reflected in the colours and shape of the Brain.

You can currently buy one on the secondary market (Opensea). In Q1 22 you will have the ability to stake $ASTO in order to mine for Gen2 Brains

The Genome Matrix is the unique set of traits that set apart each ASM Brain, think of it as the blueprint or DNA.

In Q1 2022 you will have the ability to stake your brain with ASTO in order to mine new Brains.

There will only ever be 10,000 Genesis Brains, from the 10,000 ASM AIFA Genesis Boxes. There will be more ASM Brains after this, but they will not have the Genesis trait.

Genesis Brains will always be recognised as the original ASM Brains, anyone holding a Genesis Brain will have early access to future projects and releases.

You will need a compatible cryptocurrency wallet holding an ASM item (one of the most popular is Metamask).
